Fall/Winter 2006-2007 Trends to Flatter Your Figure!

This seasons trends:

Layers - Layering extends from Summer into Fall as we trade our multiple tee-shirts for layers of sweaters, vests, blouses, etc.  A great camouflage tool to draw attention away from our more generous areas and equally as effective in adding bulk to create balance for our more slender areas.

Checks - Checks, houndstooth, every type of plaid you can name was prevalent on the runways for Fall/Winter 2006-7!  Whether you have a more dramatic style and are comfortable mixing and matching your patterns or more conservative sporting just a plaid trouser - there's something for everyone.

Volume - Bell and puffed sleeves, bubble skirts and dresses, wide framed jackets - this trend is all about adding volume to your silhouette.  How can this be a flattering trend you ask?  Well it's all about proportions.  Add volume to your sleeve to camouflage more generous arms; add it to your skirt to create balance with your broader shoulders.  Step out of your comfort zone and try it - you might like it!

Nostalgia - Very feminine and classic, this trend truly celebrates the silhouette of a woman.  Floaty skirts, cinched waists, sheer fabrics, ruffles and more make this a time to flaunt those curves.
