Makeup Tips

As we take ourselves and our makeup into the fall season, please enjoy the following tips to help make that transition:

• Have you bought a new mascara in the last 3 months? If not, it's time for some more. Shelf like of mascara is a maximum of 3 months and will irritate your eyes if used for longer.
• Worried about what shades of makeup to use when your skin becomes lighter this fall? Why not stock up on 2-3 shades so you can blend them during your transition. This applies to foundation, powder, and concealer.
• Use a light skin or champagne colored eyeshadow on the inner and outer corners of your eyes to really open them up and create a more "glowing" look.
• Always add a little blush or bronzer after you finish with your foundation and/or powder, it keeps you from looking monochrome.
• Lip balm works as an emergency eye makeup remover in case of mascara meltdown when you're out & about.
